clever, entertaining and insightful
I have been listening to The Drunken Odyssey podcast for about a year - I haven’t hit every episode, but the ones I have listened to have been delightful. Why? Because the host, John King knows his stuff. His author interviews are splendid, as are his book reviews; the production quality of the podcast is quite fine as well, with hilariously endearing ‘bumpers' that are always fun to revisit. This podcast consistently offers astute literary criticism with just the right amount of cheekiness to keep the whole thing entertaining. If you are a book lover you can’t beat this podcast for introducing you to fine writing and the authors who craft it.Read full review »
