“David Bates has a brilliant radio voice and manner in the classic BBC style. He really knows his Lewis and isn’t afraid to have an opinion.
I’d prefer the interviews to have a bit more Lewisian cut and thrust, but I acknowledge this is a fans’ appreciation society, not a hard news show.”
