“Found this Podcast while following Darryl Cooper's podcast and what I really enjoy about this is that it's the story of how events effected the lives of the people who were living during that time. This podcast is more of a living history filled with anecdotes and personal history than of a collection of headlines and facts. It still has the headlines and facts it's just the added depth of the here's what that meant to us angle that really gives this podcast an edge over other's that give indepth layered history without any human narrative. I hope that he will continue when the history catches up to the present. It's a gem of a podcast”Read full review »

“There is so much about the Soviet Union and its area of influence which is made known in this podcast. Normally, I avoid non-narrative podcasts. This is different, and I'm quickly becoming up-to-date on all the episodes.”Read full review »
