A great alternate view of the Soviet Union.
As an American I have always been fascinated by the Soviet Union and what life was really like in the various SSRs. Kristaps provides a look into how the various peoples of the Soviet Union and how they viewed it. Additionally he provides the listener with access to Russian and Latvian accounts of life without the irritating task of learning yet another foreign language. Anyone with even a passing interest in the Soviet era should give this podcast a try. P.S: in regard to one of the other reviewers you don't even have to hear the words "Harry's Shave" or "Nature Box" one time and I will take Patreon begging over that any day!

Fascinating show from the perspective of a citizen of Riga, Latvia. He has an excellent command of English for easy listening for us Westerners, and hearing history and culture from his point of view provides us a fuller understanding of the world.
