Today’s interview with authors
Was very much more balanced, with Ann asking some penetrating questions and the male author (at least) being willing to admit that the President has exposed the disdain many citizens have for his kind of “traditional presidency behavior”. I wanted to shout out: but the social media opportunities for lots of mischief are certainly revealed (I disdain to partake in that behavior). It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.

Anne McElvoy is a charming interviewer. Lighthearted for sure but sharp with the probing questions and follow up questions. Put her with leaders from business, politics, and the arts and you have a satisfying, engaging listen.

Easily the best Economist podcast. Good short-form interviews. The host is quite sharp and consistently succeeds in drawing out guests. Strongly recommended.
