Doesn't Understand How To Do A Podcast
It's really a shame as I had such high hopes for this. People listen to podcasts typically when they are on the go - commuting, working out - things like that. While I understand the ads, taking 20-40 minutes to get to the subject of the podcast is brutal. I wonder if it's the producers or Eddie himself that decides this, but it's unlistenable. NOBODY tunes into this to hear Eddie talk about himself. Take a listen to someone like Bill Simmons - he had Larry David on and about 6 seconds in, he was talking to him. NOBODY cares who Eddie Trunk is or what he has done in the industry. I am familiar with him which is what brought me here, but if he doesn't learn how to do a professional podcast I will not be listening anymore. And this is coming from someone who loves the genre - what is someone who is not familiar with him going to think upon listening to this? I imagine it will be one and done for them. Shape up, Eddie - I want to like this podcast but there is little here to bring me back.Read full review »

Where does Eddie live that makes it impossible to have a guest sit beside him and speak into a microphone? Love the content...HATE THE PHONERS!!! Unlistenable.
