I started swimming 6months ago from ditching it at around 11, YouTube has supported my swim training groups advice and formed the primary source of information, until I decided to type ‘swimming’ into the podcast and found this. Such great info and I’m able to listen on route to work, as I don’t...Read full review »

I have done over 10 open water swims in excess of 20 miles but almost always check something that Brenton is suggesting on his YouTube or Podcast channels. There’s always something to learn and I really like the functional way he delivers it. Highly recommended.

Specifically, the difference in going from a 2-beat to a 4-beat kick brought a significant improvement in my times immediately. Tips on breathing technique have helped with big breakthroughs as well. Fantastic to get access to a coach who understands what amateur swimmers want and need to know. Also, a great coach on pool deck. If you have a chance to go to one of his clinics, do it! Keeps things simple and you will get advice on things that really make a difference.

These are brilliant podcasts. The small tips and mental imagery discussed in each episode will seriously aid your swimming. Today's gallop discussion (which I had just noticed at the Olympics) has led to a PB for me. I've been swimming for about a year and at 54 years old and having...Read full review »
