Today I'm joined by Tanya Castellino, the founder of Life's Little Celebrations and member of The Modern Marketing Collective. Tanya has had her business featured in publications such as Donna Hay Magazine and The Practical Parenting Magazine, and she's also been chosen as a judge for the Party Stylist of the Year Awards.TANYA’S JOURNEYWe chat about what it's like running a membership, how she manages that one, what's involved, and how her business has evolved over the years from starting as a blog to the online resources and now, as the membership, the conference and the magazine. We also discuss how Tanya has made this work as she has raised her four young children, the challenges that she's had along the way, her advice to others that are looking to build their own successful businesses and what's next for her. BALANCING RUNNING A BUSINESS AND MOTHERHOODTanya is a mother of four and lives in Sydney. Tanya previously worked in human resource management and secondary teaching before becoming a mum and delving into the much more exciting world of kids' events. Being a mother and an entrepreneur can be both rewarding and extremely challenging. Finding the right balance between these two roles can sometimes feel like a juggling act and Tanya shares with us how she has built such an incredible business with the support of her family. She set realistic expectations for herself and her business and understood that you can’t do everything all at once and it’s okay to ask for help.
