Good but sound quality needs improving
The shows are in the whole very good. They do sometimes miss out relevant locations if they are not EH sites. It would also be nice to have an ad free version for EH members. They are achingly PC sometimes. Also after doing 293 episodes it is about time a sound engineer who knew what they are doing was employed. In olde episodes the host was very quiet and guests very loud. Now the host is loud, but some guests are quiet. It makes it annoying to listen to especially in the car.

More reviews of The English Heritage Podcast
Some interesting topics covered that you won't generally find on other history podcasts. A good and knowledgeable host and some great introductions to places to visit. Slightly let down by getting to bogged down in the detail sometimes. Recommended.Read full review »
