#13 - My Struggles and Fears on the Journey to Realtime: Mentor Session with Joshua Edwards
Listen now
Description
I scheduled a session with my mentor, master certified realtime court reporter and captioner, Joshua Edwards, RDR, RMR, RPR and more... I express all my struggles, hesitations, fears, and questions. Well, actually not all of them, but enough to get us started. I have not actually begun my journey to realtime. I am being held back by my own fears, judgments, hesitations, and my own thoughts. That's basically it. But Joshua and I have some good conversations about what it really takes... do I have to become a Steno Warrior and give up my life? Because if so, I'm not interested. But here we talk about the steps to balancing our lives with this demanding career and finding time to invest in ourselves.
