I could tell a couple of minutes into the second episode they were going down the police incompetency route. The victim said who the killer was and why it happened, of course that’s the lead the police would go after. Tired of hearing agendas pushed that just aren’t there.

I liked the first episode—despite the snippets of bad acting—because of the storytelling, the minimalist vibe, and the seeming authenticity of the narrator’s curiosity about the case/doubts about his dad.
