Brilliant
Absolutely fantastic podcast. Matt does a tremendous job is presenting the history of explorers around the world and from antiquity to last century. While he always apologizes for his pronunciation, it is always fairly good, although obviously with an American accident - so really no need to apologize! But he has an easy going way of presenting his subject so the listener is always interested. The podcast follows no order and the first episode just begins the story of Magellan so I started this podcast several times, but was convinced that I had missed preceding episodes and tried to find them before starting. I would suggest that Matt do a five minute introduction for new listeners just explaining his methodology. But this is one of the best history podcasts ever done. Up there with The History of Rome, which is always considered the gold standard. Thanks very much Matt!
