Great Start
This isn't a topical current events show. Ezra does a deep dive into each guests life, what made them who they are, what shaped their philosophy. I really enjoyed the Maddow and Podesta episodes. Learned some new things about Rachel, who I've watched for years. I also enjoyed the Podesta show just as much, despite the guest being someone I'm less familiar with. Ezra keeps the car on the road, despite a few fun detours. He does a good job of digging into unexpected answers from his guests rather plowing ahead with his script of questions - a necessary interview skill. In the end the show won't leave you dripping with partisan taint, it's free of bloviation, and you'll learn something.Read full review »

Another great show from Vox, bonus points if you get deep cuts involving Burson Marstelle and Sandy Berger. Just brilliant.

A refreshing break from opinion pieces. Ezra gets at the deep issues and legitimately considers opposing perspectives. I love this podcast!
