Informative and Accessible
I've listened to four of the five episodes thus far and am truly enjoying both the information and the delivery. This is a period of history that can be very dry when studied, simply because there isn't a great deal of information that would add a more personalized narrative to the period. This podcast approaches that by creating a symbolic figure in history and talking about how the various changes in the Roman Empire might have impacted his daily life. That helps breathe life and interest into the period. I'd recommend this to anyone with an interest in history. It's detailed without being unnecessarily bogged down in dates, numbers and dry statistics. Well worth a listen.Read full review »

Every aspect of this pod is great. The information is packaged so well I have a better grasp of the fall then I ever learned in several college level classes.
