“As someone who's studying to be a dietitian, I love talking about food (who doesn't?). I also have a small love for history, so you can only imagine how happy I was to come across this podcast. My favorite episode is the story about the Victorian Dinosaur Dinner (I can't tell you how many times I've listened to that episode). I also like the book recommendations at the end as I'm usually looking for something to read, especially if it has to do with food and the history of it. (I think it's starting to become a bit of an obsession.) I also love Laura's voice. It's calming to listen to after a long day at school or work and I just want to sit and make highlights and go over my notes in my textbooks. A must listen if you love food and history and a good story to tie it all together.”Read full review »
