No longer worth listening to
This used to be a good companion piece to the main Mark Kermode film review show on Radio 5. A more in depth look at generally more weighty movies. Sadly that's gone now, replaced largely by two desperately right on women who tear apart beloved classics as being no longer "culturally appropriate" or politically correct. It's truly dreadful stuff from two individuals who are far more interested in ticking boxes than appreciating movies.Read full review »

Recent dip with Rafiq Rafiq, completely self obsessed whose favourite words, constantly used are me and I. Please inject some confidence and modesty into her. Clearly bight and erudite, the millennial trope of me, me, me wears thin very quickly Otherwise, the usual suspects, good as ever.

Listen to this and the Mayo & Kermode show. With these two, there is nothing left unturned with new releases. It is well presented sober and focuses on the details and character of films rather than pandering to superficial star gazing and American obsession with stars. Well worth a listen.
