“I get the sense that the hosts don’t want to be hosting a true crime podcast. It always feels like they’re super disconnected from the stories and it’s obvious the research and writing has been done for them, like they’re doing it because they think they have to. Why not just have a podcast like killing time? It’s clear that’s what they’d rather be doing. I rarely even see them posting or talking about true crime cases on their social media. Just make it a funny conversational pod and be done with it already lol.”
