Great podcast…undoes itself at episode 10
Great podcast, good range of guests and insights from investigators and others involved in the case. Unfortunately I got to episode 10 and can’t continue. Really harmful discussion about trans people. Including the opinions of only cis people and other people who may know Denyer but clearly have no training or understanding of this very nuanced subject only perpetuates unhelpful stereotypes and misunderstanding. Having guests who “know trans people” as a clear attempt to give legitimacy to their views on whether they believe Denyer is trans is really unfortunate. Allowing people to comment on how “feminine” a trans woman is or whether they think Denyer “looks like a woman” is just gross and I’m really disappointed. We have the knowledge and understanding of the nuances of gender identity to do better than this! Also, how does this add to the story? It’s only included here as further “evidence” of pathology or deviancy of trans identities. I’d really like this episode to be fully reconsidered and I think trans and queer communities deserve an apology, at the very least.

This is a true crime podcast about the murder and attempted abductions of women and girls (including descriptions of the autopsies), and you’re more bothered by...Read full review »

A well made and gripping podcast telling the story of a deranged killer. More poignantly an insight into to promising young lives he took and the ripple effect that still impacts everyone today.
