Vicki, what an excellent job on this. It was almost as if I was there amongst the crowds, feeling both anger and profound sadness. These poor families, I cried for them. Thank you for a thorough and well written podcast.

This podcast was well researched, well organized, and very well done. A chilling series of crimes that I didn’t know about before and the sick, twisted individual behind them.

One of the saddest podcasts I have ever listened to. The women, the cats. Just Incomprehensible pain for these poor souls and their families

I love watching and listening to crime & investigations and this really gave me chills, the superb details, interviews and follow ups for all people involved is extraordinary. Although, it's sad to hear about all the gruesome outcomes of the victims, it's so detailedRead full review »

First time I’ve left a review for a podcast series on true crime. I was genuinely moved by what happened to the young women and felt the narrator did a fantastic job being informative without the drama you see in alot of true crime podcasts these days. She was very respectful and the episodes...Read full review »

Honestly vikki petraitis has done an exceptional job when it comes to Denyer and the Frankston case… the baby Jake addition really rung out that extra bit although I was always very uncomfortable with using that name. Bit exploitative if you ask me. I really enjoy vikkis work and utter...Read full review »

I personally really enjoy Vikki’s calm voice. The severity of this podcast was well tempered by this imo. The way the psychology/psychiatry expert put it: Denyer lacks 3 key ingredients that would reasonably demonstrate suitability for release: 1. Insight into the reality of his actions 2....Read full review »

I like a lot of listeners consume a lot of true crime. This far and away is the best I’ve ever heard. There was clearly an exceptional amount of interviewing and research put into this and that’s what makes this podcast so good. I most appreciate how the creator of this podcast Vikki Petraitis...Read full review »

Exceptionally well researched, detailed and produced podcast. Gripping from start to finish. Delivered with respect and immense compassion for the victims and their families. Vikki and Ceasefire have done an amazing job putting this all together.

I can’t tell you how jarring it is when you’re listening to a podcast, and they’re discussing the horrific murder of women, and then, with no warning whatsoever there’s some guy screaming to you about Albertson’s with clown music behind him. It’s jarring, I think it’s a little insulting,...Read full review »

I’ve listened to many, many true crime series, but very few have been as impactful, as effective, and as compassionately told as this one. At the conclusion I’m left with the families, friends, and the girls’ stories above all else. The story of community and the work of the police, it’s lasting...Read full review »

It was gripping from the start and was very easy to follow the way the storylines were laid out.

Well researched and detailed podcast, which made for interesting listening despite the tragic and disturbing content. Unfortunately the narrator speaks extremely slowly, so I had to listen to the whole thing on 1.25x which was at times tricky with the different interviews.

The pace and layout of this podcast were excellent! Plenty of details without getting “lost in the margins”. Informed, complete reporting while honoring the victims and their families.

It is comprehensive and gives more than enough support to PD never being allowed to taste freedom ever. The theme music however makes my ears bleed.

High quality true crime podcasting. This is a case unfamiliar to most in the US and stands out from most of the new podcasts out there. Great writing and though it doesn’t shy away from details, it respects the victims .

Utterly compelling and delivered with enormous compassion for the victims and their families. Paul Denyer should be dead: there is nothing redeeming him. What kind of insanity has the world come to. This is a podcast about a MALE serial killer who will remain as such no matter how HE ever identifies just like Luis Morales, Adam Laboucan and all the others.

Well done Vicki and Casefile for an in depth look into this creep and the impact his actions have had on so many people and his poor victims and what they suffered. I hope he is never allowed out of prison!

A bit slow in the beginning but each episode is riveting and I couldn’t stop listening. As someone living in Victoria, this man must not be paroled. A very convincing case
Blondieschick via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 05/29/23
Great pod but maybe a bit too long and drawn out - 11 eps is too much and the hosts’ voice was a bit droning. I’m sure she doesn’t really speak like that. She sounds like she is trying to emulate the Casefile dude who actually does pull the drony voice off properly.

Addressing the question of narrator raised by one, rather hysterical, review: the narrator is superb and compelling, and have listened to him for years. Best true crime narrator in the business, and that includes Mike from That Chapter. Keep up the great work! (And no I am not Australian).

This podcast is very thorough and interesting. The murderer isn’t glorified and the victims and their families are well represented. This is a very good podcast. A deep dive that investigates the murders in detail of several women in Frankston during the 1990s who were just going about their business. Each episode could be half the length, no detail is left out and that’s not a good thing. You have to listen to details that go nowhere, needed editing.

We must keep Paul Denyer locked up. This is the most important and terrifying podcast I’ve listened to in a long time.
