“Jacob,
I really enjoy your podcast, and I think this is a really interesting subject area, one which is going to change massively in our time (and already is doing rapidly).
However, of late, there have been too many Corporate HR types as guests. Some of them have still said things of interest, however the one with Accenture is beyond the pale.
I would have to conclude that your corporate guests are paying quite handsomely to advertise themselves to your listeners (and I don't wish to be on the end of an hour-long advert).
I want to hear the people who should be on your podcast on merit, and not those selected by how much they pay.
Besides which, I do feel that this much focus on the corporate world flies almost exactly in the face of 'the future of work'.
There is a reason they want workers to listen to how amazing they are for replacing Annual Performance Reviews with an app (good grief, really?); because they know they are so up against it in attracting and retaining really good people, who live a life full of choice and individuality, more than ever.
I would like to hear a bit more on your podcast from the likes of Gerd Leonhard and organisations similar to his Futures Agency.
Or more like Alec Ross; Really interesting, intelligent, creative thinkers who are mapping out how the world is really changing, and a bit less of those who are so obviously desperate to hang on to old models, like traditional 9-5 employment, and like Accenture, are barely tinkering around the edges whilst claiming to be really forward thinking.
Thanks for a generally very interesting podcast though. Happy to update my review in a month or so.”Read full review »

More reviews of Great Leadership With Jacob Morgan
“Great series on the evolution of the worker, workplace, organization and oh yes managers and leaders. I speak with clients with everyday and Jacob and his guests are talking about the trends that are coming and those that are here but may still be somewhat under the radar. Love it and you will...”Read full review »
