Way over hyped
I've got a lot of problems with the podcast and have stopped listening to it entirely. The main talent, Gerry T is a megalomaniac who is enabled by a cult of worshippers. His holier than thou personality really turns me off but other people I guess are really into it. The community around this duo exhibits groupthink to a major degree and so a lot of their conclusions are way distorted. Bryan seems like a nice guy, but he's realized Gerry T is his meal ticket and so fawns all over him every episode calling him the best in a way I find nauseating and distracting. If you want competitive MTG content, follow mtggrindcast. If you want fun magic content follow mtggoldfish. If you want limited content, limited resources is great.Read full review »
