“I have listened to many gaming podcasts over the last decade, and found that most of my favorites have gradually gravitated toward a common and unfortunate common ground. They focus on the same news stories, generate obnoxious levels of snark, and offer overall cynical perspectives of their hobby of choice.
In stark contrast, the Gaming Outsider is a refreshingly optimistic and focused podcast. The hosts are relatable and honest, and are dedicated to making their discussions (which often focus on a single game or series) upbeat and fun. The restrained length of each episode is another great thing, since I know I will never need to fast-forward through a meandering news segment.
