“I have been listening since last years E3. There has been changes since then, and while I miss the guys that first got my attention, the new crew are finding their legs quickly. The major thing that I miss about the old crew is that each person seemed to prefer a different platform and type of game, while the new crew is clearly a group of old friends that all share the same affinity towards a particular brand and style of game. I play on PC and metroid-vanias aren't for me and that seems to be the odd platform and odd taste is games out now. That being said, I had an instant connection with this podcast because I am a mid-thirties working dad who plays games to relax and unwind. These guys talk about games in a way that I can follow and appreciate without being overwhelmed with uber nerd speech. Their passion for gaming is infectious, and I have found and played some great games that I had never knew about thanks to them (oxen-free, her story, and edith finch to name a few). I literally have a bunch of games written down on my desk that I have either bought or plan on buying because of how they have talked about them. I look forward to every episode now and can only hope that they continue the good work. If they follow tradition and read this on the show I would like to ask a question ... I just downloaded Life is Strange and Life is Strange: Before the Storm, What order should I play them in? Thanks and play on!”Read full review »
