So many reasons to like this podcast!
I'm no newcomer to genealogy research or computers, but I've learned a lot from GG in just the first 10 episodes. (I'm catching up!) Lisa Louise Cooke really knows what she's doing, no doubt about it. She also does a great job of presenting these "gems," and her engaging style makes these podcasts a joy to listen to. Keep some paper handy while listening --- you'll most likely be taking notes.Read full review »

Lots of great hints and tips but most importantly for a non geanealogist such as myself, she links together historical events and circumstance with real people and tries to find out how her ancestors interacted with their world - fascinating stuff.
