I’ve been listening to GenWhy for 6 years. Aaron and Justin are respectful, thorough in their research, and I can’t wait for each episode every Sunday!

We know they are few and far between. These dudes know how to tell a story.

They are just reading a script in a VERY monotone way. I found them to be so dry and boring. Many of the episodes I passed up because they are so overdone. I hope they strive to get better but, they have like 500 episodes at this point so …

These guys are the absolute best. They provide solid facts with a perfect mix of opinion between the two. They don’t try to sway you in any particular direction. They’re attention to detail in every case is evenly matched with common sense perspective. 10/10 recommend. Thank you, Justin and...Read full review »

The hosts give a reason behind each of their opinions and comments. They do not take sides for the sake of ratings. If they feel something is unjust they state facts to back why they believe something was handled incorrectly. Enjoyable to listen to their banter.

The way they discuss & analyze the crimes they cover, their dynamic, and the respect & consideration they show for the victims is just great. They are aces.

Aaron is a Sissy; Justin is a know it all!!

It seems like these guys just release episodes that coincide with shows covering the same content on many different streaming services. Would be nice if they dug deeper and got into less popular cases.

They pick good ones to tell but they are clearly under the delusion that they are charming and clever personalities! Just not!! Please stop analyzing dumb stuff like ‘talking about how long somebody waits to call someone after getting their number!

Woke, preachy anti-police clowns riding the gravy train. Skip this one.

I love Generation Why and have listened for years. I didn’t mind when they got sponsors and started reading out ads. But since they joined Wondery and added the Apple Podcasts subscription, it’s unbearable to listen to: The ads are shrill and always much higher in volume than the podcast...Read full review »

I’ve listened to this podcast FOR YEARS and for a while their pandering to not reporting the full facts of a case so as not to offend anyone has really irked me. After all, it’s pretty hypocritical of them, they’re profiting off the true crime case so tell us the full facts - don’t leave out...Read full review »

These guys were OGs, i have listened on and off for years, but now i find them kind of stale. The Murder Mountain episode, how many times can Justin say "when its illegal" when, dude, WEED IS LEGAL. ITS LEGAL. It may not be in your state but please catch up. Annoying.Read full review »

I have listened to a number of episodes and I finally had to unfollow. It is hard to follow the storylines; they ramble off onto multiple tangents. Get to the point already! I don’t need all your speculation and what ifs. Don’t waste your time.

I always look forward to settling in on Sunday nights to this podcast. They ask the right questions and make the listener think as they tell the stories. Keep up the great cases. Listening to the Wieambilla Shootings episode and so much pandering to lefty ideology. Telling us that Covid was worse than getting the jab? Try telling that to those who had the AZ shot which they’ve now admitted causes clots and heart problems. Maybe you should issue an apology to the families...Read full review »

Nice to listen to a calm, rational discussion of such a serious topic (crimes against people) each week. These podcasters really do their homework before putting their show on the air.

Its just sooo boring. I find myself zoning out anytime I try to listen. Brings me back to being an LDS (Mormon) and listening to the speakers during sacrament meetings. I’m ready for a nap,

All he does is preach at you, make speculations (“she wouldn’t do that”) about things he has no idea about, and he’s just not very smart. His overconfidence in his opinions based in nothing is evidence of a lack of meta- cognition. People who aren’t smart aren’t able to evaluate their thinking...Read full review »
