“I listen to a lot of podcasts on paranormal, true crime, conspiracy issues and while Generation Why is not really a perfect fit into these genres (in many ways it is a genre of its own and one which I think will be imitated as it gets wider coverage) it’s been on my radar since the beginning.
I can’t remember how I came across it but I have no hesitation in saying that if I was on a desert island and could only ever listen to one podcast this would be it.
The guys do some serious research into their topics but more than that they let the guests pretty much speak for themselves in their own way while still fitting into the feel of the podcast. The topics are fascinating but it’s more the approach that they take - no sensationalism and in-depth assessment of topics which others would sensationalise or even deride (Zodiac Killer Hoax). I don’t always agree with their take but I they are still the one show that makes me look forward to the latest edition.
I can’t say more than if I was going to do a pod this would be exactly how I’d do it in tone, subject and approach. Luckily for you listeners they’ve done it first!! 5 Stars but would be more if it was possible.”
