“I've been listening to mike occasionally on npr but most frequently on hang-up and listen. He has a certain patter that, while amusing and sometimes inciteful, it doesn't seem as thoroughly reasoned and thought out as others in the Slate podcast pantheon.
However, this works. He's a fast talking guy and the topics are just as fast. You could poke a hole in an argument or two but it's still really good stuff that keeps coming at you day after day.
