“It commits the cardinal sin of bad podcasting: opinion masquerading as journalism. Under-researched and under-strength, this feels like a cheap way to pad the World Service schedule. I advise skipping it.
For example, in the episode on Lina Khan, they brought on an ex-technology reporter who duly recycled Silicon Valley conventional wisdom and sneered at her alleged failure. This was baffling on so many levels, not the least of which is that Khan has has been remarkably successful. Truly through the looking-glass stuff and so, so lazy.”
