“Wow! Wow! Wow ! This was so good! Gosh where do I begin? Gloria articulated in this show all of the emotions and the things I experienced from the impact of Mr. Floyd’s murder. She spoke for me. So I am so thankful for that. All this time the black community have been so focused on defending Mr. Floyd that we have forgotten to also speak and defend our own feelings and trauma.
Gloria also dealt with all of the hurtful unchristian reactions and responses from within the catholic church and tied it right to what the Gospel demands of us. Finally hearing what Dr. King said exactly was very helpful because I have heard many interpretations of what he said.
This was fantastic. I can’t wait for the next episode.”
