God bless you, Gloria! This podcast fills my heart with a piece of my heart I didn’t know was missing… I love how she provides context to very complicated topics, avoids the temptation of quick-and-easy answers, and brings love to everyone she has on her show. Listen to this podcast for a...Read full review »

Hello Gloria, Will you be doing anything on Asbury’s “student revival”? I was praying for a wave across the Nation. We need so badly to be called to be better and truer disciples.

I love the way Gloria takes on controversial issues while remaining cheerfully respectful of herself, her guests, and all involved in the themes she discusses! Listening is not only encouraging and enlightening— it’s a great example of how to build bridges instead of walls, how to reach out to...Read full review »

Enjoyed the conversation between Gloria Purvis and Jessica Hooten Wilson: “Writers free us from our own narcissism.” “Liberation through the written word.” “Writers pull us toward the Truth.” There were so many more moments of insights. Thank you!

Gloria first came on my radar in 2020 when she courageously spoke out about racial injustice. I so appreciate this podcast as a space to learn and wrestle with social justice issues while incorporating Catholic social teaching. The guests are always brilliant and I am grateful to get perspectives...Read full review »

I don’t mind this podcast and I love America media, but I was aghast that a Catholic network would allow political advertising that was explicitly pro-abortion to precede the pod.

Gloria, I imagine you won’t read this because you have better things to do, but your strength in following your conscience consistently and helping to push back against the homogenizing forces in our church is inspiring. It must sometimes feel very alone, but we’re out here.

I am a Black Catholic and a Southerner and I LOVE GLORIA PURVIS! I can’t say enough how refreshing it is to hear this unique voice in the US Catholic Church. Her work tackling complex issues and ideas with bold perspectives is rooted in Catholic and Black cultural tradition and she is not afraid...Read full review »

The Gloria Purvis Podcast is the only one I find time to listen to every week, no matter what! She blends faith, current events, and a wide variety of guests in a way that’s inviting, challenging, and charitable - a combination I’m particularly glad to find as of late. I now have a reason to look...Read full review »

I don’t agree with everything said on this show but I know that this comes from a good place. I struggle with some of the topics discussed that don’t seem to have any bearing on the Catholic faith. Why 2 episodes discussing Ketanji Brown Jackson but nothing on Amy Coney Barrett and the attacks...Read full review »

As a subscriber to American magazine. I am greatly saddened by the views often expressed by Mrs Purvis. She uses her religious beliefs to discriminate against and make fun of our LBGTQ brothers and sisters. I have been so disturbed before I reached out to Mrs Purvis over Twitter. I have missed Gloria on „Morning Glory“ and thought that a huge mistake to cancel that show. Discussions about race are always difficult but Gloria is always gracious. I may disagree with her on some things but I respect her. Keep it up. 😎

I have been a listener since the beginning of your podcasts. You bring a much needed voice to our church. Please keep doing what you do and don’t let naysayers get you down. Gods work is being done here. Thank you for each show. I have listened to them all. I’m sharing them with my children now. What a beautiful helpful firm gentle hand to guide the listener through what it is to be a follower of Christ. Open your heart and go through this narrow gate.

I’m glad Gloria Purvis was willing to discuss antisemitism of Covid conspiracy theories but she needs to address the antisemitism in the anti-abortion movement, both Catholic and Evangelical. I really enjoy this show and find myself learning a lot about my faith and leaving joyful. It’s a great mix of information, interviews, and spirituality. I also really like that the host just doesn’t go for the low hanging easy fruit, but she covers some intense and powerful stories.

Gloria delivers the goods, week after week. She finds great guests … and asks them outstanding questions. Gloria has a beautiful gift for identifying topics and guests to heighten our awareness, have thoughtful conversations, and bring forth the best of what it means to be a Christian and Catholic today. May she keep on keeping on.

Gloria isn’t afraid to tackle the tricky issues.
