“I started following GOD way back when on Tumblr and stuff. When the first episode of the Pod was aired, I was there and loved the show. What made the show so interesting was the hilarious dais of deities and demigods— from Moses to Psyche, Easter bunny to (my favorite) Santa. The show’s regular rotation of our most revered gods and influential figures made this show so unique, original, and hilarious.
Bringing a lighthearted approach to the week’s hottest topics, highlighting important talking points, and advocating for the rights of those that have been othered: the GODPOD used to be my go-to for escaping the harsh realities I face on a daily basis. My I could hardly contain my giddiness when I would receive a notification about a new episode being available.
Having a broad perspective and an eclectic panel of avatars, this podcast was gold! Holy Spirit brought a a fresh bird's eye view of the world served with a side of sass, the feminine side of the Holy Trinity was a pillar that made the GODPOD, the GODPOD.
