“An unbiased retelling of events as they happened. In my honest opinion very Well done.
How can a public servant act in the best interest of the people they are sworn to represent when they can’t make good choices in their own lives?
It astounds me how we can excuse the behaviour and choices of some politicians but seek to believe the absolute worst of others whose behaviour is no where near as bad as the ones we seek to defend?
How quick we have come to cry ‘fake news’ and then are surprised when it turns out to be fact and truth. When did we start to mistrust journalists and accuse them of being biased when their publications disagree with what as so vehemently want to believe.
It all plays out on social media, at the kitchen table and any where else seemingly reasonable people gather including my own inner circle. Ford did drugs. He mistreated his wife. He made the most incredible jaw dropping dumb remarks publicly, he was MIA while his team scrambled to run the city ... and people still want to defend him and say how good he was for the city of Toronto. It actually hurts my head.
May he Rest In Peace. But the facts are the facts. Thank you for making this podcast.”
