This podcast is more of a nostalgic walk down memory lane regarding Bond’s Aston Martins DB5 vs. a podcast about what happened to the vehicle. The true crime portion of the podcast could have been wrapped up in 2 episodes while the remaining time (6 episodes) is dedicated to historical...Read full review »

The series starts off well, but by episode four, they take deep dives into side topics like the DB 5 toy, how the car inspired custom modifications. This series could have been an entertaining, tight, four episodes.

Well written, produced and presented. A great yarn, and not too heavy and serious which sometimes you really need!

Has anyone thought maybe, the owner had his own car “stolen” to collect the cash from the insurance company?! Note he didn’t need to the money, but he sure profited. 🤨

What about an update given the developments earlier this year?

Repetitive and Liz Hurley comes across as a jaded and disinterested narrator. It’s hard to blame her.

Well researched and a great story. Definitely worth a listen.

Having Elizabeth Hurley narrate ain’t bad either!🤓

What a waste of time...endless unfounded theories from so-called investigators who just pedal total rubbish with no inside information whatsoever and a narrator (Liz Hurley) who just reads endless script links and has no authentic connection with this story! Most of the podcast has absolutely no...Read full review »

Disappointed could have been done in 2 episodes loads of filler.

Fantastic podcast, really compulsive listening with Elizabeth’s beautiful cut class voice !

Whoever wrote the script has a local amateur dramatic sensibility. Elizabeth Hurley sounds like a child actor over exaggerating every syllable. The story of what happened to the car is about 20% of the podcast.

An interesting story but one that could’ve easily been told in a single episode Podcast. Instead this tale is padded out with lots of recaps and the plotted history of everything re Fleming, Bond and the DB5 and it’s gadgets. One for the diehard Bond nerds.

Interesting, educational, entertaining and all narrated with Hurley’s beautiful voice.

This had me subscribing to see what happens next. There’s another intensity to drive the story along without it becoming overly dramatic. Looking forward to the next episode.

I can’t believe I’d never heard of this theft! Fascinating stuff (and top-notch production) - can’t wait to get the rest of the story.

Am not a car fan (nor a huge James Bond fan), but I’m hooked. Unsolved mysteries are always fun, but this one’s especially cool. Dying to get more of the details… can’t wait for the next ep.

The perfect podcast for fans of true crime, cars, fine art, or spy films! Elizabeth Hurley and a diverse team of experts do a fantastic job taking listeners through the details of the cold case, and provide insight into the history and unique design of the iconic DB5 from Goldfinger.

A fascinating and thrilling story, brilliantly told. I’m a big Bond fan, but I’d never heard about this stolen DB5. Hard to believe they actually pulled it off. Looking forward to the next episode!

James Bond. The most “important vehicle in the world”. A crazy real life story of mystery and suspense. A great selection of interviewees. What more can you want?! Another great production from the makers of spy space, would 10/10 recommend.

An entertaining heist story about the missing Aston Martin DB5 driven by Sean Connery in Goldfinger. Can’t wait for the next seven episodes. Elizabeth Hurley is perfect as the host.
