Excellent content but too many episodes
First, the content is a gripping tale of the nightmares innocent sub-postmasters went through at the hands of Post Office and its Horizon system. The story arc keeps the listeners hanging onto every word. Substance wise I found this series brilliant, extremely well researched. What I found really annoying was the need to wade through 11 episodes, which could have been packaged into 5-6 episodes each lasting 30 min, without cutting out any informational contents. Each sessions started with a recap of the previous sessions, and ended with a preview of the next, which made me suspect the producers just wanted to pad out the content for no benefit to the listeners. Substantively, it made it harder to follow who all the different interviewees reappearing in different episodes were.

More reviews of The Great Post Office Trial
How can the Post Office leadership team live with themselves? Accusing innocent sub postmasters of theft. The irony is, way the Post Office is being run is criminal. Excellent podcast, very well articulated.

This made me weep and fume. Hugely important piece of work and admirably well constructed. Astonishing that full accountability has yet to be met by those responsible.
