Oy!
Just finished all 17 episodes—edifying journalism and a gripping, heartbreaking yet uplifting story. Once I started listening I couldn’t stop and binge-listened the entire thing. Bravo to the BBC and the indefatigable Nick Wallis.

Just finished all 17 episodes and I commend the BBC and Nick Wallis for doing the hard work of clearly explaining this travesty of justice. I live in the states and my heart hurts for these citizens of the UK. Well worth your time to listen.

Excellent storytelling. This is so thoughtfully crafted and presented. My heart absolutely goes out to all the folks affected by the scandal. Shame on Post Office! Thank goodness the lid got blown off!

Fantastic job done by Nick Wallis and all who came forward. Without their honest stories and courage to come forward this podcast would not have been possible. The absolute farcicle bumbling of this Government dept against all of these postmasters is disgusting. Paula Vennells and all her...Read full review »

An excellent documentary of a series of terrible events that resulted from poor decisions by poor managers. I concluded that our once respected institutions are not anywhere near as trustworthy as we thought. Brilliant journalism bringing out issues in the public’s interests. Who’d ever apply...Read full review »

Dickens and Balzac would be proud of this dedicated coverage. Thanks for this podcast, as well as “Investigating the Post Office Scandal - the podcast.” Congratulations to all involved in the production of these important podcasts.

I find it difficult to believe, this country, this government can possibly be so corrupted to carrying this extent of miscarriages of justice. To throw so many innocent hard working people under the bus, then sued them while they were lying there fighting for their life, so a few at the top can...Read full review »

The only way to describe this is corporate bullying. An attempt to cover-up the issue by the top management and managers alike. Disgrace to the Post Office and Fujitsu. Lock them ... Please.

I first started listening to this on the BBC and was horrified by details the reporter had uncovered. It’s finally been revealed that these poor, honest people were persecuted and hounded due to a faulty system which the suppliers knew was full of errors. The people affected have had their lives...Read full review »

Started listening in November 2023, having read only a little about the scandal here and there. Those affected by the miscarriages of justice were put at the centre of this excellently well-paced and taut production. Allow about 4 hours to hear it all in one binge-fest!

Heartbreaking for those people impacted by this sordid example of corporate behavior. However I stopped listening due to the length of recap at the beginning of each episode, just needless.

Short, focused and amazing crime story about the UK Post. Listened to it all in one day and recommended to friends. Thank you

First, the content is a gripping tale of the nightmares innocent sub-postmasters went through at the hands of Post Office and its Horizon system. The story arc keeps the listeners hanging onto every word. Substance wise I found this series brilliant, extremely well researched. What I found...Read full review »

An excellent podcast but listening made me absolutely furious. I hope there will be an update with at least a few heads to roll because the lack of contrition is breathtaking. The interviews with the victims are heartbreaking and life affirming in equal measure.

How can the Post Office leadership team live with themselves? Accusing innocent sub postmasters of theft. The irony is, way the Post Office is being run is criminal. Excellent podcast, very well articulated.

This made me weep and fume. Hugely important piece of work and admirably well constructed. Astonishing that full accountability has yet to be met by those responsible.

Enjoying would be the wrong word. This is a deeply upsetting story brilliantly reported and put together. I could cry at the injustice. When I hear people talk about getting their news from Facebook or defund the BBC then this is a reminder of why we need journalists more than ever to scrutinise...Read full review »

A fantastic insight into an institutional scandal that I’d heard of but knew very little about. A Post Office cover up that ruined countless lives and the dogged determination of some to prove their innocence. Great piece of investigative work.
