The facts and failures, patiently revealed, episode after episode, start small (sometimes not so small) and add up to an avalanche.
The nature of the process - grinding slowly through testimony - makes for complicated listening in real time, but the podcast summarises it brilliantly. The testimony is at times harrowing but vital listening.
This is the Beeb at its best. Only regret is the podcast is weekly, not daily as used to be the case.”
