A rich trip down Memory Lane, to Gringle's Pawn Shop
A fine reminiscence on the joys of first discovering RuneQuest 2, back in the 1980's, drawn into a modern context with an appreciation of the developments of 21st century RPGs. The style tends towards monologue, which in a podcast of this length some might find a teensy bit wearing, but Dirk's Boltonian tones and gentle (and clean) humour made the whole affair quite soothing for me personally. The podcast shows a clear and deep understanding of RQII and a critical appreciation of the game, and is at its best during the light hearted dialogue with Dirk's Rules Lawyer gaming friend - more please!Read full review »

This is a well-written podcast with a unique point of view. It’s great to learn about Golden Age gaming in the United Kingdom from the grognards across the pond. Keep up the great work!
