Phoney and irritating
This is a pretty lame affair, as one might expect of something pumped out on a daily basis. The commentators hold forth sagely on the grosses of films despite having no real knowledge of film financing marketing budgets. One of them is guaranteed to raise all the requisite Guardian PC quibbles, for instance making a fuss about Benedict Cumberbatch insulting teams people in Zoolander 2 - a veritable non-event. Although some of the opinions expressed are astute and idiosyncratic, the overall impression is of something rote and over self-conscious.
