Not hooked
With this podcast being at the top of the browse list, it’s hard not to notice it. I hope that it lives up to the hype that apple podcasts has built up for it. Update: the first episodes have just come out, and my opinion has not been deterred. I absolutely love the idea of this podcast and the journalist-style way that the podcast is presented. I feel like I’m listening to some kind of piece of fake history, or like something I’m just now hearing about and trying to get informed about. I have to admit, the dialogue in this podcast sounds a little boring. I understand that it’s all meant to be realistic, but I wish that I was a little more hooked on the story. I’ll give it a chance, but if I’m not hooked I’m not really eager to listen.

Listened to the first two of these in one day and I'm hooked. Always crazy to hear about these sorts of experiments. Love the mix of raw audio footage, historical audio and narration.Read full review »

To date this has been the only podcast I’ve ever binged. A remarkable portrait of humanity - and everything from the jokes to the shipping to the irritation between the crew mates of this fake voyage is so well done. LOVE LOVE LOVE the ending themes.
