“As a current Freshman at The University of Oklahoma, I find myself to be a pretty happy person, always looking out for the positives in life. However, my peers are typically the exact opposite. I’ve heard them cry to their parents about their “problems” and “failures” and, even today, heard one girl say that her dad would take of “it”.
I had a mentor during my Senior year of high school tell me that in life, there are never any failures or problems, only opportunities. I’ve stuck to that ideology and I can say that, personally, I’m in such a better place, both mentally and physically.
Unfortunately, not everyone has mentors like I did, which is where The Happiness Lab comes into play. This is what every college student needs; A resource that can give critical information on how to live a more fulfilling and beneficial life that is not based on monetary things.
I’m extremely happy this podcast is available, can’t wait to share it with my peers, and look forward to tuning in week after week.”
