“So disgusted to hear this so-called "unfiltered" replay of the trial peppered with the kind of judgemental criticism of victims' testimony that keeps women from coming forward in the first place. Comments such as "this is not the kind of language you would use", "it's sounds really odd"... that a "32 year old woman of the world" in the 90s would obviously know what rape was and should have reported it. When they finished an episode with this sentence: "most ordinary people with common sense would think that if something like this happened to you you would actually remember the year it happened... I think that would be something you could recall without much difficulty", I just burst into tears.
You know NOTHING of rape, you know NOTHING of how rape victims process and manage life after the trauma.
