“This could be good. The insightful bits start to get on to something, but then they completely derail it by...
-Body shaming Nancy CONSTANTLY. Seriously, STOP. It's not funny, and telling someone to "eat a hamburger" is one of the oldest jokes in the book.
-The lesbian jokes with Barb are overdone.
-Too much swearing. And I can't believe I'm saying that. But it comes off as forced and trying to sound "edgy" or whatever. I use the f-bomb as much as the next person, but honestly... it just comes off as incredibly crass. I'm not offended, it really just lowers the overall quality of the podcast.
-Jessica gets weirdly emotionally attached to the characters. We get it, the show makes you care, like we all did. But the way she comes across is just really creepy.
Like I said, I think that this could be a decent podcast. There are some good thoughts, comparisons, insights, whatever, but it can get really cringey to listen to really fast. I do appreciate doing the live thing, but some editing before airing would really benefit it.”Read full review »
