Ken Dryden
I am a Canadian living and working in Ireland for five years. I listen to the Herle Burley on my walks to work along the River Lee in Cork. I feel a great sense of connection to Canada when I listen. David’s line of questioning was excellent and best of all, he lets his subject actually speak. We gained great insight into Ken Dryden‘s thinking on many issues and I appreciated David’s description of him as a public intellectual. Dryden is such a remarkably thoughtful Canadian who brings distinction to public life. This was a great interview. I felt proud to be a Canadian.

Just caught up and I thoroughly enjoyed hearing David’s conversations with Denise Donlon, David Axelrod, and (very much so) Ken Dryden. Interesting listening to Ken Dryden’s fierce patriotism (“Come on! This is Canada!”) contrasted with Nick Kouvalis’ clear-eyes cynicism.

Always enjoy David’s podcast. His interview style is comfortable and he gets to the heart of things with his guests. Prefer the politics to the music.
