Enjoyable, and informative
I have been listening to these since they began. I just finished the Lizzie Borden episode. The podcasts are refreshing, and lighthearted even when discussing heavy topics. The Marie Antoinette, Dolley Madison Lizzie Borden episodes are A++ and top-notch; I was less fond of the Laura Ingalls Wilder podcast, which provided less information. I enjoy the hosts' references to current topics and current popular culture, while still being very informative. Any technical problems from the first episode have been taken care of. Keep up the good work - I wish you could make more! Thanks. PS, I was so entranced by the Lizzie Borden episode, I ordered the graphic novel discussed by the hosts. I especially enjoy the discussion of the related links that will be posted.Read full review »

More reviews of The History Chicks
Chicks in history - both factual and fictitious, by present-day chix, for the benefit of all of us. My ah-ha moment came at about Episode 3. Cleverly well-presented and informative. Interesting perspectives.

Not my cup of tea. Probably good for Tweens and high school kids. A little bit too "in your face" and discussion is not to be taken seriously. A little too pop history.Read full review »
