Thank you so much, this podcast really appeals to me. You've picked really interesting historical figures and I love that they are all women. I have read a couple books on Marie Antoinette and you still told me some facts that aren't generally known, those are my favorite! Anything that can help me relate to them on a more personal level is awesome, I'd never heard her last words before guillotene, didn't realize so many had lost their lives trying to protect them and liked the information about the sister who was most beautiful but was disfigured by disease.Read full review »

This is great. I stopped listening to Stuff You Missed in History Class a while ago, and this is quite refreshing. I like that it doesn't sound too planned. I just wish the would fix the sound quality. They may have fixed it in the newer episode and I just haven't listened to it yet.Read full review »

It's actually this attitude that puts women and gender studies in the fearful to men category of history.
