Looking forward to Season 2
Highly recommended. I find the informal, moms-on-the-go tone of the show quite charming - it makes the "history lesson" feel more like a chat between friends in a coffee shop - or a discussion over cocktails - where the topic is the Gilded Age Heiresses, or Laura Ingalls Wilder, or Abigal Adams. The topics are well-researched and injected with lively quotes, scandalous tidbits and "OMG" exclamations about corsets, chores, etc. that our "chicks" from history endured. I'm looking forward to Season 2 and hope Seasons 3, 4, 5 etc. will follow.Read full review »

My 8 year old daughter is completely into historical novels and figures. She devoured the Little House series, and is loving listening to your casual recap. We are both excited to hear more!

Love The History Chicks! They have a great conversational style - it feels like you are sitting with your best friends. And great content ! I'm not exactly a history buff but I could learn a lot (and enjoy it!) from Beckett and Susan. Looking forward to the next podcast.Read full review »
