Fantastic!
I stumbled upon this by the time it reached episode 30 and was immediately hooked. Margaret tackles so much in this podcast from briefs about science to contextualizing the history of these foods, ingredients and tools. This has easily become one of my favorite podcasts and can’t wait for it to continue on in further seasons.

Ugh. The snarky delivery and attempt at humor is the worst and detracts from the great research. She isn’t an entertaining actress and her speech impediment is annoying.

I just adore it! Every episode is filled with info, well researched, presented concisely and clearly, and makes me want to find out more on the topic. It’s such a treat!

History can focus a lot on policy, war, and industry. The star of this show are the people that helped the armies March, the cities thrive, and their stories that have been ignored for too long.
