A worthy successor to A History of Rome
When Mike Duncan decided to end A History of Rome after 476AD, podcast listeners around the world wept openly in the streets. Not to worry, as Robin Pierson continues the tradition in great style. Similar in format to A History of Rome, this podcast starts of rolling with machinations of the eastern court in the late 400s. Smooth delivery, good production values, great content. Only a thousand years to go, and I wish Robin the best of luck.

I was very happy when Mike pointed me to this podcast. Your doing a great job and I can not wait for the next episode. I hope you decide to do them weekly instead of every three weeks because I can't wait for the next one!Read full review »

I really enjoyed The History of Rome and I'm glad Robin has decided to pick up where Mike left off. From the first couple of episodes looks like it will be an excellent podcast!Read full review »
