A Gem of a Podcast
Originally I was searching for a history of the Three Kingdoms period, the focus of some of the video games I used to play as a kid. This podcast is much deeper and broader than just that. I am hooked. 30-40 minutes is perfect for a podcast. Well researched, light and fun to listen to, while still getting into all of the facsinating details of a land I hardly know. Second only to the "Revolutions" podcast in its professionalism and depth. Highly recommend. The propesct of learning Chinese history from start to modern day is exciting.Read full review »

A solid narrative-history podcast on a topic on which many outside of China do not know so well. My only real problem with it is simply that its hard to keep track with the narrative some times, due to the alien nature of most Chinese names to my ear. But that sort of goes with the territory.
