“I was completely ignorant about the history of China. Never read anything about it except for a few Wikipedia pages. This podcast is perfect for someone totally unfamiliar with Chinese history such as myself. Episodes are about 30 minutes which I like. Yes, the names and geography is confusing to a native English speaker such as myself, but that certainly isn't he hosts fault. I'm able to follow along for the most part. I doubt this podcast is much help to a graduate student writing a thesis on the Warring States period. However, considering I had never heard of the Warring States Period before this podcast, I really enjoy each and every episode.”Read full review »
